B : Really? I was barking up the wrong tree.

  o Who came up with this brilliant idea? 누가 이렇게 훌륭한 아이디어를 생각 했죠?
  come up with sth. ~을 생각해내다. He came up with such a great idea. 그 사람은 대단한 아이디어를 생각 해냈다.

  o We put our heads together to solve the problem. 우리가 머리를 맞대고 문제를 해결했어요.
  Put one's heads together. 머리를 맞대고 상의하다. 라는 표현 입니다.
  백지장도 맞들면 낫다 라는 속담이 있는데요, 영어로 해보면 Two heads are better than one. 입니다.

  o Good job. Let's give ourselves a big hand. 잘 했어요. 우리 모두에게 킁 박수를 쳐줍시다.
  Give sb a big hand. ~에게 큰 박수를 보내다. 라는 표현입니다. T, let's give him a big hand. 정말 잘 됬네요. 그 에게 큰 박수를 보내줍시다.

  o Why don't you report it to the boss right away? 그 훌륭한 아이디어를 사장님에게 바로 보고 하는건 어떨까요?

  o He's in a bad mood today. 오늘 사장님이 기분이 좀 않좋으세요.
  Be in a bad mood. 기분이 안좋다. 반대로 기분이 좋다 라고 할때는 Be in a good mood. 하면 되겠죠.

  o Don't ask for trouble. 괜한 짓 하지세요.
  Ask for trouble. 화를 자처하다/긁어 부스럼 만들다. 직역하면, 곤란한 일을 자청하다. 라는 뜻 인데요. 상대방의 행동을 비난 할 때, 화를 자처하다 라는 의미로 사용됩니다.
  He is always asking for trouble. 그는 항상 긁어부스럼 만드는 스타일 이야.
  자업자득이다 라고 할 때 는, You asked for it. You deserve it. 를 사용 할 수 있습니다.

  o Really? I was barking up the wrong tree. 그래요? 제가 잘못 짚엇군요.
  Bark up the wrong tree. 잘못 짚다. 직역하면 잘못된 나무에 가서 짖는다라는 의미 인데요, 사냥개가 표적이 없는 나무를 향해서 계속 짖고 있는 상황에서 나온 표현입니다.
